Caitlin's Stitches
by Benjamin (editing by Rachel)
On Tuesday, our afternoon was different than we planned. I had to do my violin lesson and everyone came along since we were going disc golfing afterwards. Everyone was playing outside while I had my lesson. Jubilee was leading her horse Ash down the hill. Ash kicked up his heels, and Caitlin who was following behind got hit. Caitlin ducked and it only hit her head a little bit. She still got a cut which was about an inch long.
Mrs. Miller stuck her head in the room and told us about Caitlin. I was fine for a while, but as I thought about Caitlin, my head started to feel funny, and I had to sit down. Suzannah said she felt funny too as Mom and Mrs. Miller washed Caitlin off. Everyone got in the van and went to the emergency room. Hannah dropped Mom, Caitlin and Jubilee off, then they went to the disc golf course. Mrs. Miller brought Christopher and I to the disc golf course when I was done with my lesson. When we got there, everyone was already done with the first two baskets so Christopher and I had to hurry and catch up. It was very fun when we caught up to them. We threw in turns and did very bad most of the time. (except Christopher) All of us laughed a lot. When we finished, we played 'Everybody's It' tag. Mrs. Miller, Mom, Caitllin and Jubilee left the emergency room and came to the disc golf course too. We ran over to where they were standing and looked at Caitlin's stitches. After talking for a while, we went home. What an exciting day!
